Alright ladies, we’re at the 5 week mark before due date and my last child (21 years ago) I thought my water broke but ended up getting induced because I was already late and if I’m being honest I was so young I don’t remember much.
I haven’t gotten Braxton hicks yet, but the pelvic pain is gnarly.
What should I expect / look for. I’ve been seeing things like water breaking, mucas plugs, lower back pain and cramping.
Scale 1-10 would you say I will able to drive myself? I have people but it depends on time of day and weekend if they are in town.
Hit me with all the must knows!

My water never broke, but the morning of my labor I woke up and used the bathroom like 30 times apparently it’s your body preparing and cleaning out to get ready! I also had very bad cramping along with constant Braxton hicks. I waited until my contractions were 5 minutes apart and headed to the hospital. It was very random and the day before I was pretty normal, shopping, eating, play cards so it really is out of the blue. And I’m sure if I had to I could have drove!

My friend drove herself to the hospital an hour away (plus getting gas) and her daughter was born 5 hours later.
I walked into the ER 6 cm dilated with my first. My second I was induced, but I wouldn't have been able to walk if my water broke naturally.
I was extremely nauseous with my first and experienced stomach cramps and bleeding. (I don't notice cramps with my period so stomach cramps aren't normal for me.)
