To move or not to move - Cardiff
So my husband and I split up over a month ago now and there's been some debate about the house.
Originally, I wanted to keep it but since having gone over the numbers and spoken to the bank, I'm starting to think it might not be the best idea for me financially as I'll be basically using all my income every month (will have roughly £200 left every month but once my daughter needs clothes or my car breaks that's an issue). I've looked about where I live but on a suitable budget for me, I could get a flat that's either in a dodgy place or run down and needs work.
I've been debating about moving to the Cardiff area (from South West England) as I'd be able to keep my current job because they have an office there, Wales is a lot cheaper for housing, and I think the environment would be good for my daughter as she grows.
Does/has anyone lived in/around Cardiff and what are your opinions of it as a single parent with a small child (she's soon to turn 1)?

Hey im from Cardiff! DM me if you want to know about what areas to look etc, in terms of being a single mum cardiff is quite convenient as it has city vibes and access to alot of things but its not huge so you can get around easily, it depends on what youre used to or what youre looking for, where are you living currently, what do you mean by i think it would be a good environment for her? And i can answer a little further :)
