After 7 yrs of trying and no luck. In the past 18 months I have been pregnant 3 times. 1 silent miscarriage 10w 1 missed miscarriage and then In March 2026 I have birth to a beautiful baby girl. She was diagnosed with T21 otherwise known as down syndrome and has a heart defect which requires surgery. We stayed in NICu for 36 days. She is home with me now as is tube fed due to getting breathless.
My T21 diagnosis and the heart defect was not picked up antenatally despite having tests I was very low risk. My girl was the 1 in 750 babies 👶
It's been a hard tough journey I decided to express breast milk as she was to tired to latch and 5 months later we are still going strong.
I try to remember life before her and how I was but I don't know it all feels like a blur now. Unsure why.
Anyways surgery is planned in September im bit scared. It's open heart surgery. But I got to keep strong for her.

Had my little girl in March, we were also in nicu for around 4 weeks and unfortunately she was diagnosed with a very rare life limiting condition with a short life expectancy. She is also tube fed. Life is very different now with constant hospital appointments and stays ☹️ Feel free to message me if you need someone to talk to. It can be really hard seeing other mums on different journeys to us but our babies are very very special ❤️🩹❤️🩹 xxx
