Talk me down!
Ugh ladies we're on day two of nursery settling in days and my little girl is finding it really tough which is breaking my heart. She had a big cry at drop off but did settle but ive just been sent a picture of her eating lunch with big blotchy red eyes and its soul destroying. She is only in two hours and has two more two hour sessions next week before having one long day the following week. Please reassure me that im not the worst mum on the planet. She'll be in nursery one or two days a week and with myself, dad or granny otherwise x

She's fine, it just takes adjusting for her, she'll probably be having so much fun once she's finished crying ❤️
That must be so tough to see, but she will settle and she will LOVE it! Think of all the interactions, play and development the nursery can offer - and she will have the one on one love and attention the other days. My boy has his settling sessions next month and I already know I’ll be having a cry in the car park after drop off 😭 sending virtual hugs 🫂
Settling in my eldest at nursery for one day a week initially was probably the hardest part of raising her (now 4.5 yo) but it was so so worth it. My heart goes out to you xx
