I got into an argument with my husband and we had an “I told you so” moment where he was right and I was wrong about a process that affects our living arrangements. He said he’s not helping me anymore because I should have listened to him the first time. I have apologized, acknowledged my fault in it, and even made clear I need to be less controlling, but he is still trying to punish me. Mind you there’s a child on the way and we can’t just say what ever happens, happens.
He knows that, which is why I’m almost certain this is a punishment for not feeling heard. I just feel like a man who wants to and knows how to lead doesn’t do it like this. I had to text him and say our child deserves a safe and comfortable home to start regardless of what’s going on with us only for him to respond with I understand that. Nothing else. I even considered getting an abortion because there’s no way a good man would put his ego before the safety of his own child.
I don’t know if this was all just to get back at me for being wrong and him feeling like he’s not in control or he really is showing me he is an irresponsible parent who needs to be coached and coerced into cooperation. I really am just over him.

he should be understanding that youre pregnant and stressed instead of acting like that after an argument.
its so childish imo and definitely feels like a punishment. would he react the same way if he was wrong? if yes hes just a loser if no then maybe he has abusive tendencies.
if he wanted your child to have a comfortable and safe living situation he wouldnt care about an argument and would just get things sorted

In my opinion it sounds like you made a big mistake not just a little one and from a responsible parent he is making you accountable for it.
