Teething
I know it’s just a temporary situation with teething but I feel like I need to hear I’m not the only one who’s struggling with it. I’ve none stop cried since getting my little one to bed just from how hard it’s been this week. I feel like I should be dealing with it better so he can see I’m there for him and not just going to break down when it gets a little bit hard.
Not sure if I’m being hard on myself.
Is there anything other than calpol and nurofen I can use to ease the pain for him that actually works?

Teething is hellish, I'm right there with you. I've found ambesol to be really helpful with my little one, he literally lights up when he sees it because of how much relief it gives him. My mum gave us spring onions to chew on and apparently that worked, not sure how much basis it has but mine seems to like it. Also teething rings/toys that can go in the fridge/freezer have been great.
Honestly the best thing we tried for teething was anbesol liquid, you need to buy it in a chemist/over counter pharmacy, but it was brilliant. It has a mild numbing agent in so really helps soothe. You just put a bit on your finger then rub into the gum where it hurts from the teething.
How you're feeling is 100% validated. It is hard! Try and be kind to yourself and just know it's a phase and it'll pass. My boys front teeth were the WORST. He is 15 months old now and has 12 teeth and the rest haven't been as bad. I 1000% recommend Parsons teething powders. They've been a life saver. You can get them really cheap off of Amazon too so it's worth trialling them. Just pop it on a spoon. Hope youre okay x
It’s all his front teeth that have seemed to come through one after the other, feels like we’ve both been living a nightmare these past few weeks. Thank you I’ll give those ones a go, I’ve tried some teething granules but unfortunately they didn’t work. I’ll definitely be ok thank you x
