At what age do contact naps become less regular? Don’t get me wrong, I love how serene he looks and love that he feels safest with me and 75% of the time it’s actually nice to just sit down with him and enjoy the moment. However, there are some days where I just feel a little drained from the constant-ness of it and I feel like I’m trying to get things done/look after my needs in his wake windows when he’s happy to go in his chair and watch me but then feel terrible for the lack of interaction with him where he’s my sole focus and tummy time, etc.

We contact napped almost exclusively for the first 6 months, unless on the go. Theres nothing wrong with him watching you, try narrating your day to him. Bring him in the kitchen whilst you wash dishes and tell him about it. It's so good for their language development.
You can also use a carrier to bring him with you whilst you get some stuff done.

Around a year old for us. We contact napped every time until then.

They didn't for us. He contact napped the entire time he napped. I missed it so much when he stopped napping 🥹 it is hard trying to juggle everything when they are awake, I get that. Don't feel guilty though, if he's happy he's happy! How old is he?
