Getting LO to stay asleep in the bassinet
Hi everyone! My LO is almost 7 weeks old and we’re having a hard time getting him to stay asleep in the bassinet. When he’s in our arms or on my chest, he sleeps long until he’s hungry again. I actually am almost able to successfully transfer him to the bassinet every time, but after 10-20 mins, he suddenly shrieks and cries out loud as if waking up from a nightmare. And it’s a non-ending loop. We haven’t done any sleep training yet and no locked down routine yet, considering to start soon.

Are you swaddling him? At this age, some of them do love the cuddles..
he is definitely too young to sleep train, but having age appropriate wake windows could already help with some kind of routine. Also a short bedtime routine could be nice. Just something simple like bath/wipe down, diaper and pjs on, feed, a song, white noise.
Try to put him down awake and soothe him his crib so that he falls asleep in there instead. Offer lots of cuddle time during the day.
