Tracking

FTM with a 9 week old. My LO is in the 6th percentile for weight [10.3 pounds at his appt on friday, doc says he is growing and gaining as expected along his curve]. We've been tracking feedings (almost exclusively nursing, some bottles on occasion), pumping, diapers, and sleep in the Huckleberry app. Did you all track things? At what age was your LO when you stopped tracking if you did?
I'm definitely more on the anxious side, but also have major mom brain and will not have any concept of how long it has been since the last ____ (anything really, I definitelystruggle with the time duration right now). That being said, tracking everything os getting exhausting and feels so consuming. Any suggestions/tips for helping with that, or is it really all good to just go fully baby driven?

My girl is about the same weight wise, but hers went a tiny bit below her curve the other week, im also a very anxious person and it made me want to track everything properly but I managed to refrain.. because when I did track when she was first born it absolutely fried my head.I thought too much about it, I over thought every tiny thing and yes it was exhausting.. I felt soooo much better once I stopped and she has been doing great, the tiny dip is definitely most likely from a growth spurt,HV isn't concerned about anything at all. So certainly for me just letting the tracking go and just obviously keeping an eye on things without obsessively tracking and noting it all down definitely helped. If you do notice something you can always track again is needs be like if you think theres a lack of wet nappies or whatever you could note it down over 24 hours just to make sure everything is good. But in general honestly, if everything is good, and tracking is stressing you at all,I dont think theres any point๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ

Yep same here, struggled with feeding to begin with too, but then we got on track, we learnt together ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜… when I saw the HV the other week her weight had gone from 9th percentile to about 7th, but she wasnt worried at all, everything else is great and shes still been feeding well so she'll keep an eye on it but im just going with that, shes coming back to way her again on Thursday. If id been tracking and noting everything the last couple of weeks I KNOW Id of been wayyyy more stressed than I have been. Because even if overall everything is sound, the tiniest thing and Id over think it.. whereas I've been chilled and shes been great, so if one day she fed slightly less or had slightly less or more sleep, i don't notice and its not written down and so I dont know and it has zero impact ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ just enjoy, the extra stress doesnt benefit anyone ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ

My first i tracked for i think 2 weeks. This little one i reached for 2 weeks stopped and had to start again around 2 months bc she wasn't gaining weight according to her curve. She has a growth in her mouth and the drs were along very specific questions. So I am currently still tracking at 3 months. But ig she had no issues, I would have stopped at the 2 weeks

My LO is 6 month old I track her sleep, bottles etc since the beginning. I do say it was more exhausting when I was breast feeding and pumping

I had stopped around 6 weeks. Iโ€™ll stop do it during transition times. For example he is taking longer naps so I am tracking naps and oz to make sure that heโ€™s eating enough

I also have been tracking because Iโ€™m home alone and have adhd. Heโ€™s gaining well but I still worry so I get it- the โ€œhow longโ€ is why I track lol because we operate on vibes

I just track bottles, pumps and meds
