As a Registered Behavior Technician, I would definitely recommend looking into ABA services if you haven’t already. Insurance coverage can play a role in determining the number of hours of services your teenager qualifies for. Depending on the provider and authorization, services may be available after school, either in the home, at a clinic, or in other appropriate settings.

You may also want to consider respite services if your goal is to help your teenager build greater independence while receiving additional support with daily activities and life skills.
