Still bleeding 8 weeks pp

I would call my doctor especially if it's turned bright red. It could be your cycle returning but I would make sure. I've had 4 csections and I never bled passed 2wks

I bled for 6 weeks and then got my first period at 8

It might be that you’ve now started your period, I started mine the second time round about 8 weeks and only had a short break. When I mentioned to my GP that I was still bleeding at 7 weeks, they did go to book me in for an ultrasound to check whether I had any left over blood there but it did stop so it may be worthwhile mentioning it to your GP if you don’t stop bleeding after a week perhaps?

Honestly my little one is 13m and im pretty much bleeding more than not, granted I did have tumours cut off both of my ovaries during the c section and only got told as I was getting discharged that they nicked something and I had a massive bleed (floor was covered 😞) but told me they fixed it so nothing to worry about 😒🙄 clearly not the case, I need to go get an internal ultrasound once i can afford it. Some bodies just take longer to heal, I would suggest reaching out to your doctor just incase to make sure you're okay and nothing to serious ❤️

Ok so I had the same but I did tell them and they were like hey if it doesn't stop by this date we need to get you a ultrasound to make sure nothing is left

Are you still taking blood thinners? I bled for 10 weeks and as soon as I stopped my blood thinners it stopped.

I bled for a very long time afterwards too but you should see dr to make sure everything is ok inside

I bled until 7 weeks then got my period at 8! I remember being sooo scared but I was told your period after birth can be a lot heavier too so just keep that in mind. Call your doctor just to be sure ☺️
