Nursery, full time (5 days a week)
Separation anxiety will ease out as the time goes by.
Remember, you are their whole world and comfort. They need to get used to the new environment and feel safe. Once that happens (took us about 3 weeks) the crying stops.
My own separation anxiety? Well...I cried every day after the drop off in my car.
It gets easier. One day at a time.
Also, the nursery is very good at keeping me updated throughout the day (pictures and general updates). Oh, and the reunion at pick up time! That's the sweetest š

At nursery 2 full days a week. He's sad at drop offs but apparently is happy within minutes of me dropping him off. We had a few weeks where he wasn't sad at drop off anymore but he had some weeks off due to illness and the nursery closing for the heat, so he's getting used to it again.
On days he's extra sad at drop off they usually send me a photo when he's settled and every time it's been before I've reached work (about 15 mins away).
Nursery uses Famly app, so I check for updates throughout the day, and can see how he's getting on.
It's hard to begin with but he loves nursery so much, and I love that he does stuff we don't do at home, and he gets to make little friends.

My daughter has been doing 4 days a week since January. She's my second so I found the transition much easier but my daughter found it harder. She's a clingy baby so it took a week or two of her being unsettled at drop offs but now she's so excited to go play, she runs into nursery. I think choosing the right nursery for you makes a huge difference so you're more relaxed while they are there
Hiya, I'm a FTM to a 9 week old baby and I do not drive.
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do a food shop with the buggy (basinet or carseat).
Please can someone explain it like I'm a 2 year old š.
I am more than happy to babywear if thats part of the solution.
Asda have the carseat trolleys which I thought was a good idea (carseat clips onto buggy) but then I'd have nowhere for the bottom of the buggy to go, is there somewhere they'll let me leave it? šš¤¦š»āāļø
Wedging a basket on the pram while babys in the carrier is not cutting it anymore š

Hi, last night me and my newborn (2 weeks today) fell asleep last night and I forgot to set my alarm for 3hrs and we both slept for about 6hrs without her waking up to feed, usually sheād start getting fussy and start crying so Iād wake up anyways but she didnāt last night only woke up and started being fussy 6hrs later
I fed her and changed her nappy immediately she drank about 3oz and I feel so bad and am so worried , she seems absolutely fine but went straight back to sleep after feeding
Is she going to be okay? I genuinely feel so so bad and donāt know what to do, sheās gained 6oz since birth (weighed 4 days ago) and never lost any of her weight shed gained an oz by day 5

Yall I have to share in case anyone else is struggling with this.. my daughterās poor face was getting worse by the day with baby acne and dry patches. I tried aquaphor, Vaseline, breast milk, dove sensitive lotion- looked worse not better. One night after using Tubby Todd colloidal oatmeal ointment and we noticed immediate improvement. This is now, about 5 days after we started using it. It is expensive, but Iām so glad we tried it!

I guess I am not going incognito because if anyone wanted to reach out they could
Throughout my current relationship (4.5years) it has been made clear to me that i have a lot of unattractive and difficult traits. I guess prior to meeting my partner I just believed I was just how I was? I had never done "deep inner work" " spiritual work" "self improvement" i had done it professionally and i guess i had phases where physically i did better but ultimately I have been told and i do see a lot of it that i find it hard to say sorry, to take accountability, i feel constantly attacked and offended and any conflict does make me most of the time walk out or say i need space i find it so over whelming.
Im currently having my 3rd baby in 3.5years and my son (2yrs2mo) had a liver transplant when he was 7mo old so a lot of hospital time, also my partner had a long long history of drug addiction which he overcame but he has not worked 95% of our relationship, i did before my 1st and 2nd but not since my son was diagnosed at 7wks old.
Im asking for maybe someone somewhere for advice or a chat, i keep feeling like im a narcissist, a bad mom a bad partner, i feel like my family are better off without me sometimes YET i have always tried so so hard to keep our whole life together shielding my family from any outside shit and ive handled every prescription/appointment, i do 99% of the housework and cooking, im not in contact with family and i cut off all my old friends pretty much then moved 4hrs away so no social support
Is anyone hearing this?
Thanks fran x

My baby girl is only a week old, so I understand this post may seem silly!
However, during the nights, Iām finding it difficult to transfer her back to her crib after getting her back to sleep following a nappy change and bottle. She stays on me for a good 20-30mins (if not, sometimes longer) after her feed so I know sheās in a deep sleep. As soon as I move her to her crib, she wakes up immediately and cries. My heart absolutely aches for her because I love the contact naps, but last night I could feel myself nodding off with her on my chest so I know I canāt safely allow her to do it during the night. During the day sheās absolutely fine. Does anyone have any advice on what may help, please?
She hates the swaddle haha, my scent is on her sheet, I soothe her when I put her downā¦Iāve done pretty much all the tricks that Iāve read upon!
I know it may seem silly considering her age, but Iām thinking from a safety perspective and would appreciate any advice!
Thank you in advance :) x

Men have woman on a pedestal. They look at us like princesses. You should never pass gas in front of your husband nor should he know when you go number two
