Travel/plane toy recommendations
We have our first holiday abroad in September and a 4.5 hour flight 😬. Any recommendations on what toys and snacks kept your little ones occupied on the flight.
We don't do much screen time but I've accepted as screen time may be required on the plane to keep her still.

Following 🙂 I’m aiming to take my little one to Australia in December, god help us on the flight!
We fly on the 5th September, same - 4.5 hr flight
I've not let her see any of the following so that its new to her. Monterossi Activity book, water colouring book, reusable sticker book, tablet and a bandou head band speaker (this last one she has seen and tried so its not a shock to her)
Im taking plenty of snacks and will make sure she has drink at take off and landing
I am fearing the flight, wont lie, but keep reminding myself that it'll pribably be worse in my head than the actual event! X
I’ve flown to New Zealand with my April 25 baby, and many flights to/from Scotland. Fiddly things are great, busy books etc but I guess it depends on what your child likes to keep busy with at home. My one piece of advice - don’t stress. There may well be some hairy moments, but it is just 4.5 hours of your life and it will end. Once you get to your destination you will forget all about it. I’ve only ever had staff and other flyers be kind and understanding! Snacks (we use the Ella’s puff corn things as it keeps him busy) for take off and landing as my wee one doesn’t like to get strapped back down onto my lap for landings so I just keep feeding him 🤣
