Does anybody use MAM bottles and a UV steriliser?

Recently read that it’s not recommended to use UV on MAM bottles and I had no idea tbh🥴

Sleeping

Hi, last night me and my newborn (2 weeks today) fell asleep last night and I forgot to set my alarm for 3hrs and we both slept for about 6hrs without her waking up to feed, usually she’d start getting fussy and start crying so I’d wake up anyways but she didn’t last night only woke up and started being fussy 6hrs later

I fed her and changed her nappy immediately she drank about 3oz and I feel so bad and am so worried , she seems absolutely fine but went straight back to sleep after feeding

Is she going to be okay? I genuinely feel so so bad and don’t know what to do, she’s gained 6oz since birth (weighed 4 days ago) and never lost any of her weight shed gained an oz by day 5

18 to 24 months is the language explosion real?

How much did your child start talking during this time?

Mine is 19 months and can say all the basics like mama, dada, dog, cat, hat, cow, car, banana etc but she has been saying these since 13 months. So I am waiting on this explosion i read about. And her to start putting 2 words together.

Can anyone advise if this truly happens?

Cleaning

So my ex has just moved out and the house is an absolute state.
How the fuck do i clean when I have my 9 month old trying to touch and mess everything up? He wont stay in his high chair, he isn't ready for a nap, and i just know this is going to take me all day without the baby let alone with him

Nappy sizes

My hubby is 6’5, I’m only 5 ft. We have a him size baby girl. Looking at her you wouldn’t think she’s over weight, she looks healthy but she’s a little chonk. She’s 10 months this week but I’ve had to put her in size 7 nappies. What do I do after this? What size nappies is everyone using? She’s half the size of my 6 year old boy, although he is a little short.

MIL Bought a Cot for Sleepovers… But Baby Is Only 6 Weeks Old

My MIL has bought a cot for when our LO stays at hers. She’s only 6 weeks old.
I know it’s come from a good place and she’s probably just excited, but I can’t help feeling a bit uncomfortable about it. I think it’s partly because it feels like there’s already an expectation that she’ll be staying overnight, when that’s not something I’m comfortable with or planning anytime soon. I don’t intend for her to stay overnight anywhere without us until she’s at least a year old.
I’m also uncomfortable with the fact that the cot has a second-hand mattress. I’ve mentioned my concerns to my OH, but he tends to brush things under the carpet rather than address them, and I feel like that’s just storing up an awkward conversation for later - especially if MIL expects us to put LO in the cot when we visit or keeps pushing for sleepovers.
I genuinely appreciate that she’s excited and wants to be involved, and I don’t want to seem ungrateful. At the same time, I’m frustrated that it feels like assumptions are being made about our baby without actually asking us first.
How would you approach this? Am I overthinking it, or is it reasonable to set the boundary now rather than waiting until it becomes an issue?

When is not sitting still problematic and needs to be brought up to the doc?

Especially at restaurants, my 2.5 year old son omg 😩 are there bugs on his seat or what?
I don’t notice at home so much maybe because he is running around and he is free to do whatever.
