Struggling with Co parenting to a 3 year old

Does anyone else have a healthy co-parenting situation but still has. struggles sometimes. Me and my son's dad trying to be 50/50 because we both want to still be a massive part of his life and we still do get on. We have both gotten into new relationships which seems to being going well and everyone has met each other and our son. But I still seem to struggle on a lot of the days, it generally hurts to share my son with another women and I worry it's not healthy on my part. She generally cares for him and as far as I'm aware tries to respect me as a parent but I spent the days crying when he's not here he's with her instead. I have no one to talk to you about this because it always comes off as bitchiness and I feel like my brain is always playing tricks on me about it and I hate that I feel so alone with it. My partner tries his best to understand and support me while keeping me level Headed but he doesn't always understand since he gets on with my sons dad so well. My son has recently started to say he has two Moms and it's tearing me apart. I feel so broken

I am very scared to leave my very unhappy marriage for this reason (having to be without my baby/one day having to support another mother relationship with him). I have no advice - just here for support. đź«‚

I co parent a 3 year old too, neither me nor his dad are in new relationships so I can’t relate to that. But co parenting a 3 year old in general is so tough and heartbreaking at the best of times. No real advice, but it doesn’t come off as bitchy at all, it’s a hell of a lot to deal with, I genuinely think I’ll break when the day does come and another woman is involved in our sons life. My inbox is open if you need to vent x

Honestly, as time goes on it does eventually get better. My daughter goes with her dad 50/50 and during the week while hes at work, shes watching her/homeschooling her etc. They also have a baby together too. I dont even communicate with her dad anymore, just with her step mom. Even sometimes when we meet up, its my husband and her who is doing pick up and drop off lol. It wasnt always like that, but they've been together for almost 2 years I believe and shes been nothing but wonderful to my daughter. My daughter loves her and I never want my daughter to hate me bc im jealous of their relationship. I just do what I can when shes here and love her. ❤️

I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way. It is very hard to wrap your head around another woman taking care of your child. My son’s father just recently got into another relationship but she already has 3 other boys so that has helped ease my mind. It’s never easy. I do try to think about how my bd feels when my boyfriend came into the picture. I’m not sure if that will help? I’m sorry you’re feeling this way, I’ll be thinking about you! 🫶🏻

I think there needs to be boundaries only you are his mum. The partner can be called auntie or stepmum. I feel your pain, because its confusing your baby and you carried them for 9 months xxx

Mama, please don't be so hard on yourself.

Feeling jealous or hurt when your 3-year-old is away is completely normal, especially when another adult figure enters the picture.

A child can have multiple people who care for them, but there is only ONE of you.
He says "two moms" because he feels safe, which actually means you and his dad are doing an incredible job building a peaceful environment for him.
You are irreplaceable—never forget that!

I always tell my stepkids I'm their bonus mum and they call me by my name.
I think there's nothing wrong with having a nickname for the new stepmom.
I don't try to replace their mum; I always told them I'm here to support, and that's about it.

I totally get it. That must be so hard. đź’• Send you a big hug and hope that over time your feelings will be at a better place.
