When your family members or, trusted friends babysit your child(ren). Do they respect your boundaries?

To elaborate,
- If you have a baby/toddler that they put your child for a nap when needed/scheduale.
- They feed your children at the times when they would expect to eat (respect your childs meal times e.g. 12pm & 4pm)
- They don't give your child(ren) sweets/pop if they're not allowed those things.
- If your daytime potty trained child, still wears a nappy for bed, that they put a nappy on them.
- The list is endless to whatever your boundaries are for your child(ren).

Am I in the wrong?

Our son is 14 months and I was tired this morning and gave him a leftover krispy cream donut for breakfast, my husband saw and got upset about it. Was he overreacting or was I in the wrong? I didn’t think it was a big deal

Partner Going Back to Work

Hello! I'm 8 weeks pp and my partner is going back to work on Tuesday, he was only due to have a month off but I suffered from post partum depression so he took an extra month off to support me (I know I'm very lucky to have had him around for so long!). I'm feeling so anxious about it, he's a nurse so does 2 12 hour shifts a week and 2 8 hour shifts which is filling me with worry about of I can cope all day with the baby, I'm feeling a little better after starting medication and growing in confidence but I still haven't really took him anywhere on my own that wasn't just a walk around the park to get a coffee, I know they're are lots of groups in my area but I have this fear he will just scream and everyone will look at me as if I can't soothe my baby, I'm just after any tips to make the first week a bit more bearable on my own?

My LO is 4 months and 1 weeks today l started him weaning with avocado so l want to know what else should l give him for 3 days avocado after that what l should give him and how many times in a day and should l start him water as well or not and can l give him baby cereal and porridge of baby or not please guide me give me tips?

Living situation

What’s your living situation with dad do you both sit in living room with baby/toddler ?
My other half is in the bedroom all day smoking playing games while I’m in living room with 18 month old while juggling cooking cleaning he’ll sometimes help but how can they do as they like when they like but us mums can’t tired mum over here

How do you feel about your baby being passed around to be held by people who didn't ask?

For example say you didn't like certain family members, you didn't trust their personal hygiene and generally you do not get along, but they are part of your family, do you just grin and bare it and let them hold your baby? Or do you say something?

Because it happened to me today and I didn't want to be awkward or sound horrible, but this man I legit just cannot stand him, and my mum (who I do not get along with either but I already feel like I need to let her hold baby) she passed my baby to him without asking me and it made me feel so uncomfortable. He's just a horrible person, and I don't trust his hygiene, he has long dirty fingernails, he doesn't smell clean, and he gives me the creeps. I just shut down and freaked out internally. I didn't know if it was fine to say something or if it would've been overdrramatic and cause drama for no reason?
