Hi, I am a single mother of three and my landlord increased my rent by double without telling me so I owe money for July and August and then the full amount on September 1. I don’t have the money to afford the rent so I have to move out and I don’t have anywhere to go. Besides my bfs and he lives an hour away.
My baby dad, doesn’t coparent with me or help in anyway, wants to meet him before we move in. Should I let him meet him??
Also he said that he won’t drive half way to get the boys when it’s his weekend?? Am I in the wrong for telling him if he can’t meet me half way then I’m not bringing them all the way to him??

Is it month to month? Even month to month they legally have to give you a30 day notice atleast
Apparently they sent something in the mail but I never received it. When I moved it it was a year lease than after that they reevaluated my income since I’m on housing assistance. Even tho my income hasn’t changed somehow my rent went up
