Contractions as a FTM

Hi all , I am a FTM was due 27th August but my little girl didn’t want to come I have been booked for induction on the 3rd of September I will be 41 weeks.
On Saturday night I started having contractions which were coming every 15 mins lasting about 45sec but disappeared on Sunday morning.
The Sunday night they started again every 15 mins lasting between 30 to 45 seconds and in the early hours of today I lost the mucus plug which appeared to be brownish in colour no fresh blood.
The contractions have continued still coming every 15 mins …. I would like to know from other FTM how long this phase lasted ?

How long is a piece of string 😅 could be hours or could be days

With me 7 hours latent labour was. But I went on my ball , had hot baths also xx

It is hard to tell as it varies for everyone. But if you are willing to wait your body is definitely signally it can go into labour spontaneously. Ride it out if you can. Stay relaxed and calm and hopefully it will keep progressing. Best of luck!

I was like this for 3 days before going into actual labour, try and sleep where possible as I had about a total of 10hrs sleep in 4 days by the time I had my daughter

It does sound like early labour which can last a long time annoyingly, you can push your induction back though!! If its not a medical reason you can just wait x

Line eyes or not?

Obviously going to retest tomorrow morning but, do I have line eyes or is there actually something there??

C-section insecurity

Just wondering if anyone has any advice?

I'm 14 weeks postpartum after an emergency C-section and struggling to not hate my body. My scar is wonky and has a kink in it, I have the C-section shelf which is massively messing with my suspected long term body dysmorphia and I overdid it on the exercise which has made my belly more swollen than it has been. I avoid looking in mirrors because of all of this.

I want to exercise to like my body again but don't know how to do it without making it worse? Has anyone else struggled like this that wouldn't mind talking about how they dealt with it to love themselves again?

Has anyone done the window curtain for their elective? What was it like?

The consultant I was speaking with last Wednesday (when I thought I wanted a VBAC), put in my notes that I wanted a window curtain for my elective. Just wondering about everyone's experience with that if you had one? I know it won't gory or anything like that because it still blocks the icky parts lol, but just curious 😊

C section tomorrow!

Hey ladies I have my c section booked in Aberdeen for tomorrow and I’ve completely forgot where I have to go in the morning, it’s only my 2nd time in that hospital, any advice would be great as my midwife isn’t answering her phone thank you xxx
