I’m curious if anyone has any advice or thoughts for me. I know it’s still early to think about birth control after delivery since I’m due in December but I figured getting a head start on it could be good.
I’ve always had a bad experience with birth control and want to see if anyone with similar experiences had anything that worked for them. I’ve tried almost every birth control pill out there even the mini-pills and always have a very bad depressive response to them. I tried the patch and was allergic to the adhesive. I tried the non hormonal iud and it put me into a false labor, I had to get it removed less than a week later. I don’t know what would be a good option for me. If I have to I’ll do the pill and hopefully find some antidepressants to counter the effects but I’d prefer to avoid it if possible.
Any ideas?

I got the nexplanon implant during basic training and during a very tough part of my life in general so im not sure how much of my depression could be equated to that. However it does not use estrogen like most pills do so that may be something to research. I did pretty good once my life kinda balanced itself out the main depressive spikes still happened around my period but I dont think the implant was the cause of any emotional shift.

Hii I’m a first time mom and also young asf so I understand wanting feel protected especially after having a baby! I did the shot it was not as noticeable for symptoms. They also allow you to do the pill as well so you’ll be twice as protected. My flow is pretty heavy it lighten it up even

Nexplanon was great for me I also get bad mental reactions to birth control only complaint about the Nexplanon is I didnt have any period for the first two years and the third year I was bleeding for half the month every month and ended up getting it removed

I had the implant and the first one I had was fine but I deal with migraines and I wasnt sure if it was due to playing computer games that did it or the implant long story short it wasnt the implant, and it last for 3 years

Why do people reach out first to say hi and then when you respond they go silent? Why even say anything to begin with then? And I’m talking about responding within an hour after them, not several days later.

Hi Girls, it’s my birthday in literally 45 mins and im literally alone because my boyfriend thought carnival was more important than me…he went today instead of being with me he didn’t even tell me he was going, he purposely delayed telling me when he was there and I just feel like im done with him. I’ve already done most this pregnancy him barely scraping the bare minimum its actually hard to even fathom this is a boyfriend. I’m 35 weeks pregnant and this really hurt my feelings today. You’ve gone to carnival knowing you have a heavily pregnant girlfriend at home on the day BEFORE her birthday.

Hi im Teri! I’m a mama of five! Very feral children. They climb trees get lost in the cornfield. Play with the chickens and don’t like to wear shoes. for me, I’m looking for mom friends that either want to text FaceTime or hang out I know sometimes it’s a little bit hard with children so they can just run outside. I am big on crime documentary as well as podcast. That’s what I tend to listen to when I clean my house. I’m also trying to start a fitness journey so if you’re close to one be my gym, buddy, that would be fantastic and if you’re far away and wanna be my penpal again down for it, I would absolutely love someone from another country or far away just in the fact that we could send each other cool snacks I absolutely love to cook, but my favorite food is grilled cheese. I would love a friend just to talk about life with someone who is not judgmental and sees both sides.

Just curious about what other mums would do. My brain isn’t braining night now,
We have a 2 night stay at the park coming up, at the time we will be there the park will be closing by 4pm which is annoying, 6pm on the weekend.
We arrive on a Thursday and leave on Saturday, I’ve just realised now that check in is after 3pm and checkout is by 10am🙄. I called to check if parking times are affected by hotel check in or out times and they’ve said no but I don’t know if I should use the tickets for Thursday Friday, or Friday Saturday?
Our kiddo naps at 1-2ish, and won’t sleep in a moving car lol. So either stationary in the car or in the room. Hubby says we should get there early the Thursday and use the ticket for Thursday Friday and let her nap in the car parked up, I’m thinking Friday Saturday so we have the whole days kind of, and she can nap in the car stationary I guess. But all our stuff would be packed up into the car so we’ll basically be “outside” all day which isn’t great but isn’t terrible… 🤷🏻♀️
It’s annoying that the park closes so early given the ride waiting times, the time it takes to get around. You’d think it’d be quieter in September after back to school but it isn’t, the rooms we wanted were almost gone. Also if anyone has recommendations for other stays or trips in the UK that are great for a 2 year old please share!!
