Any Kendamil mums here? Please help 😩
Has anyone else recently been having trouble getting Kendamil formula to dissolve properly?
No matter how carefully I prepare it, I’m still seeing quite a lot of undissolved particles/residue in the bottle. I’ve contacted Kendamil and they’ve reassured me that it’s normal and safe, but I’d really love to hear from other mums actually using it.
Is yours dissolving completely, or are you noticing the same thing with the newer tins/batches?
Please tell me I’m not the only one because I feel like I’m going crazy over this milk 😭😂

I’ve noticed this too!

I’ve noticed this only with the normal kendamil follow on, was using the organic first milk and that used to be fine. I guess I did switch over only around a month ago though.
I thought it was because I was doing the hotshot method but it’s actually worse when I don’t lol (maybe because there’s less space for it to mix?). What temp water are you using?

My partner makes the bottles and he’s tried every method possible to stop this from happening. We use the kendamill organic since birth my daughter is 7 weeks. We’ve also tried the goat version and this never happened. I’ve heard a lot of people talking about this on TikTok as well. I think kendamill recently changed their organic tubs

Following because i am about to introduce Kendamil Organic to my LO this week.. he is 4 months and has been ok breastmilk

I contacted kendamil about this and they said it was because I was not shaking it enough. I now do the hot shot method, shake it until it is completely dissolved and then adding the rest of the water seems to make it not as bubbly

Yes! They've recently changed their calcium source and I think it's that. Stopped when we went back on the goat milk.
What age did you transition your babies from sleep bags to a duvet and pillow?

Now I know what people mean when they talk about the newborn trenches. My baby is 1 month old and I haven't had any issues regarding sleeping at night except night feeds until tonight.
I have mastitis feel so unwell I haven't been able to go to the doctor yet, my baby slept the whole day and is now refusing to sleep and feeding every hour. I am running off 3 hours sleep in the past 48 hours.
My whole body is aching every single joint is agony even my fingers and the worst thing about it is they tell you to get enough sleep and rest for mastitis..
Can anyone relate to me

It’s incredibly difficult to stay awake while breastfeeding the baby at night. Sometimes I fall asleep with him on my chest and it’s so dangerous. I don’t know how to avoid it but I also have to keep him on my chest after feeds due to reflux.

My baby is 11 months and I still BF, even for naps and bedtime and the middle of the night, he wakes up multiple times... My in laws are coming soon so my husband will take vacation from work so we can take them to know the city and different places, etc. They wont be staying with us so I told my husband I want to use those nights to stop BF during the night so I'll be sleeping in the other room and he can be with the baby and make him to sleep rocking him or as he can... Now he is complaining that then he is not gonna sleep because of that and he is the one that will be driving the next day. Am I being irracional? For 11 months I have done it, and I'm the one waking up and sleeping in a uncomfortable position and with back pain. I don't ask him to so it on regular weekdays because I know he needs to be rested to work the next day.

I fear I was being far too smug as my LO was only having 30 min naps in the day and I thought we weren’t hit too hard by the regression…. The last 2 nights she’s been waking what feels every 45mins/1hour upset and won’t settle unless she’s breastfed. This is haaaarddddcore!! Any advice/tips please! 🙏
For those of you who seem to be coming out the other side of it how long did the awful nights last 😅🤞🏼
