Playgroup

Can I take my just over 1 week old to a playgroup or is it too early?? Not for her to actually play ofc because she’s too little 😂 just to mingle and socialise with parents. The same one I used to take my daughter too till she aged out.
I’m worried she’s too small to be around all those other adult and kid germs but maybe I’m being too paranoid? lol

100% you can if you feel comfortable! I have seen newborns at our playgroup loads of times 😊 I didn't start going until my first was around 6 months but that was just me haha might be different with my 2nd

Totally personal preference. As a ftm I didn't even let family round for 2 weeks and didn't start baby groups until 3 months as I was scared of germs. Looking back now it does feel a bit OTT. And if I have another I'd probably be more lax. Though I would assume it wouldn't matter much anyway since you've got another child who will be bringing home germs

I started baby groups when my little girl was two weeks old, just to get out the house and see people 😊
