My son got bloodwork recently at his 24 month appt. And he has slightly low iron. Are there drops or easy to chew pills for iron specifically or multivitamins anyone has tried for this age group? His pediatrician suggested half a Flintstones vitamin and/or an iron liquid supplement I can't for the life of me remember the name of. Or i can try making him more steak or iron dense foods.

Iron gets best absorbed with vitamin c. I like giving oats with frozen blueberries in the morning, make the oatmeal with water since milk reduces how much iron gets absorbed.
