Flu vaccine

I always did when my oldest went to public school. It was just easier than making a separate appointment or trip to a clinic or pharmacy. They do it just like any other vaccine event, or at least they did/do here, if you’ve gone to any of those. Just a room full of kids & their teachers lined up.
My oldest son has a bit of a phobia of needles, so, when possible, I have always scheduled his vaccinations to take place when at least I could also get mine or one of mine done at the same time, so never at his yearly appointments, but now we go to the health department & do the whole family for flu shots & such. Seeing others do it first helps him to not tense up as much & he knows if he does tense up that it’ll hurt more later, he also stands in line thumping & massaging his chosen arm.
I personally talked it over w/my son, knowing he has this issue, but he agreed that his friends, classmates & teacher being there would also work.
