my baby is 14, almost 15 months and still isn’t standing or walking independently. i know it’s not a concern until 18months but im getting a bit discouraged 😕 he cruises on the furniture perfectly fine & uses his walker when he feels like it but he always just falls to the ground/doesnt want to walk. like i said, i know i shouldn’t be concerned right now but im just wondering what tips helped your baby and are they walking/standing yet? i’ve tried the 2 objects in their hand (he just throws them on the ground😂) and the broom trick.. nothing works

I say, enjoy the crawling a bit more. Once they walk - your world is about to change. I only help my daughter walk when she asks me for it. Outside of that, she is figuring it out at her own pace. She’s climbing, walking along couch and practicing standing.

honestly…we’ve tried everything. my baby literally did it on her own timing😂😂 i woulddd say, when we would let her explore more (with supervision ofc) was around the time when she started taking her first steps

I’d suggest play dates or interactions with other little ones who may be walking already. I’ve found that it’s kind of motivated my son to try it a little more on his own!

If hes tall it will take him longer to figure out balance, he will get there.
Im 2 weeks postpartum and im really struggling, im not saying ive been a saint during our relationship because ive been far from it, I know my partner is struggling to create a bond with our daughter but I feel so alone, ive done every night feed, every day feed and everything else in-between, he does things such as washing bottles etc but i feel like im running on empty, im really struggling with an identity crisis and I feel like an imposter in my own body, it was also a traumatic birth which replays in my mind all day every day and im struggling with that, I do suffer with my mental health but I have never felt more alone then I do right in the moment, I think my partner feels neglected in some way and he believes that I dont make an effort like I used to but how can I do anything when I do feel and look like myself anymore, im honestly really struggling

My kid has been in school in the UK and has learnt all sight words and can read fluently. He is in grade 1 in America now and while doing sight words was graded as incorrect for his pronunciation of the word 'been,' he said it as in 'seen,' 'keen,' or even 'bean' but the teacher said that the correct pronunciation is 'bin' as in 'sin' or 'in' with a 'buh' sound at the beginning (I hope I'm making sense)
Before I say anything to the teacher I'd like to get your thoughts. What is correct?
