Finding this stage almost impossible!

I feel bad for saying this but I’m finding this stage/ age SO difficult. My LO has had a lot going on, loads of new teeth, started nursery a month ago, learnt to walk, illness etc but my goodness. We can’t do anything without them kicking off, wanting to be picked up all the time or just general moaning. Really struggling over here!

I love him to death but it is hard!

Your not alone! 🤍

It's so hard! This is my second baby so all I can say is, it doesn't last forever. The year between 1-2 is tricky. They can't express themselves so there is a lot of frustration! Hang in there ❤️

Not alone! My LG was a disaster at her cousins birthday party yesterday- she was impossible. She has also started to walk. Just hoping its a phase 🙏

I can 100% relate! My little girl is being impossible at the moment, it’s so exhausting and overstimulating with her whining and fussing and tantruming essentially the entire day 🫠 I know everything is a phase but let’s hope this one is short lived!

Tickling

Do you allow family members to tickle your child? I personally find it really hard to watch as I hate being tickled, and although my daughter is kind of smiling i don’t think she enjoys it. How do you tell them to stop doing it? Or am I being over the top?
My daughter is almost 15 months

Baby breastfeeding while asleep?

My 3month old has started to keep drinking while she falls asleep? As in, Im nursing her, shes suckling, and then she nods off but...just keeps suckling? Lazily, but definitely still chomped on. She fights me when I try to break the seal, and if I dont remove the nipple from her she'll sleep-suckle for 20, 30min easily. When I do remove it successfully she wakes a few minutes later, absolutely furious!

Is this a 3month thing? My poor nipples 😢

C-section mums..

How soon after your sections did you go for a bath, I’ve read your not meant to soak the scar/wound in a bath but doesn’t say when you can 🫣 sometimes a shower just doesn’t cut it for “me time” 😅
Also how are people keep it dry, I have a slight overhang so looking for the best way to keep the scar dry without rubbing it with a towel like I want too!

MIL’s

Is it just me or do most MIL’s constantly criticise the way you parent as a mum. She has never really seen my husband do much other than hold baby or change the occasional nappy, and that apparently makes him the best dad in the world! Meanwhile I do everything as the mum and she has never said anything like that to me. Not even the slightest compliment, and I know that I’m trying my best but how do I not let this get to me. My husband doesn’t even offer to take the baby for a while whilst I rest or take a shower, I have to ask!! It might be the postpartum hormones taking over but I just want to be able make it clear to her that I take care of the baby 95% of the time.
