Birth reflections
Has anyone requested a copy of their medical notes from Bolton hospital? I feel traumatised by my delivery but can’t remember a lot of what happened. I feel like I’ve got an unfinished jigsaw puzzle in my mind and can’t find the last few pieces anywhere. My notes don’t really have any details in but I’ve been told I can request for a write up of how everything went down if that makes sense? I can’t remember exactly what it’s called and I’m running on no sleep I hope this makes sense!

Hey, i went through a traumatic birth at Bolton hospital and I was told we can have a debrief, and this will go through everything that happened during my delivery, they do this around 6 to 8 weeks after delivery due to hormone crashes etc, maybe ring the mental health midwife team and ask them to do the referral to ask them for a debrief and someone will ring to book you in for an appointment for it, ive got mine through and mine is on the 18th November, hope you manage to get the answers you need x
