Mums to 2 babies or more

When were your little ones born in relation to their due date? Respectfully, please only write a comment if you were induced/had a c-section, I'm interested in when birth 'naturally' started

1st came a week late I was induced nothing was working I was in the hospital like 5 days maybe.
2nd came right on time her due date I was also induced 2 days before because there were concerns with baby. I guess induction is really depending on your body bc my first took forever my second a little less but the stuff they gave me was barely help

1st came 40+3, 2nd I was induced due to pre-eclampsia and was 38+3 but they took the pessary out after 4 hours as labour ward was too full but baby decided they were coming anyway and contractions started after removal

do you mean only comment if you WERENT induced/had a C-section??
if someone’s induced/had a C-section then that’s an “unnatural” birth no? as their labour was deliberately started?
not trying to be rude, just confused x

I’ve had 3 spontaneous vaginals never been induced. 39w, 42w and 40w on his EDD my boy came. I have no pattern- one early one late and one smack bang on time lol but labour started 27hrs prior

Baby dropping?

Idk if it matters but I feel like my baby has dropped a bit? My pelvis aches more and my bladder seems sensitive/like I have to go more often. So excited now! Also has anyone had a discussion with their midwife or doctor about a membrane sweep? I was curious to ask my midwife some questions about it.

Post c section healing..

I’m not sure if it’s because I went into spontaneous labour before my planned c section or what but has anyone else suffered pain wise post c section? It’s only day 4 but honestly struggling with the pinching/ jolt stabbing pain on the left side of my incision when I move around and sit down. I know it’s only day 4 but people make out c sections are ‘easy’. Also have such horrendous tailbone pain (which could be from where I was having back contractions). I just want to feel back to normal and feel this is slightly taking away the newborn experience plus my toddler has reduced play from me as I can barely function 😩

Birthday party help.. 🇬🇧 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Can I ask the mums in England how much they are spending on birthday parties?

Thinking ahead to January as my daughter will be 6. She wants a class party (only 15 of them) and wants it at her gymnastics club.

They charge £250 for 25 children, 1 hour of gymnastics and then 1 hour in the party room.
No food or anything included.

Is this decent or really expensive?
Would hiring a hall end up being similar?

Only bonus is the gym I won’t be able to decorate much so maybe I’ll save some money on balloons etc but I’ll still need to provide food, party bags etc.

I’ve never done a huge class party before only
Small party’s at home!

🤯 why am I seeing so many October babies being born in September?

I’m sitting here chilling at 34 weeks and I see people announcing their October babies in September! One lady posted ‘if your 34 weeks this is what your baby looks like right now’ whiles holding her October 2026 in September 🤯

Emergency C-section

Hey all

I had a cat 1 emergency c-section under general anaesthetic on 08/09..

Just wondering if anyone has any tips/advice for processing the trauma?

I feel like I’m okay at the moment but it’s going to hit in the coming days and I want to prepare myself
