Mine is 8 weeks with colic & reflux. This started before I started using the brezza bottle maker machine.

What makes them think that the prep machine has caused these conditions? I’m intrigued as I do the same method for bottle making for my little one

I breast feed my 10 week old has had reflux and colic since birth x some babies just have it. You're doing great it's hard x

You are most certainly not failing its incredibly difficult and honestly makes it hard to do anything at all. On top of usual newborness. What are you using currently ?

Are you using infacol drops before every feed? X

You should be testing the hot shot from the prep machine as there have been incidents of it not meeting the 70 degrees needed to kill off the bacteria in the formula.
I formula feed and have been using the fridge method, boil 1litre of water, make up a few bottles, cool them for 20 mins then put them in the fridge and they are good for 24 hours.
I’m not sure what formula you’re using, but I am using kendamil and there is a really helpful group on Facebook called Kendamums if this is your formula.

I think it’s very individual how each baby is fed, even with formula. My first I will say cutting out the prep machine made a MASSIVE difference to her reflux, mainly due to the extra bubbles caused by making it using the machine. Rapid cools weren’t really on the market back then so I didn’t use that. Infacol can also flare reflux due to the flavourings. My first was failure to thrive and still has reflux medication now so we tried and tested everything due to the severity of her GERD. She also has/had multiple allergies but not all of that was related to reflux. Have they explored CMPA? With this alongside struggling to poo it could be non-ige symptoms, or just regular baby fussiness. Have you tried another brand of formula? Even though the ingredients are the same sometimes one agrees more than another. Have you tried the fridge method? X

My 9 week old has had it also , We just boil kettle , prep the formula there and then use the Tommie toppie cool down bottle , to then cool it to drinkable temp ,
Sometimes it’s the formulas but speak go they gave us infant gaviscon as can have it from 2 months and helped massively !
