I always forget what to do or how early to start I have had both my daughters at 37 weeks and want to have this one around then to I usually get a membrane sweep but they don’t offer that at this hospital. I know about the teas and excersices but when did y’all start doing those things to soften up the cervix and have easier births?

I’ve heard that seamen can have softening effects on the cervix and pumping can jump start labor.

Orgasms
Not necessarily penetration
But climaxing flexes your cervix
Also deep squats
And side to side lunges are helpful

Ive been doing 30 minute long walks with my son aswell as pumping on the "cluster feed" setting on my hands free pump. My ob recommended walks, doing the cluster feed setting and sway squats (squat all the way down to where your butt is basically touching your ankles then lean side to side). I have been doing it all since 34ish weeks and at my appointment last week I was very soft and already 1cm dilated. Im keeping up with it best I can and now have a stash of 135ml of colostrum in my freezer and am hoping the added extra pains I've been feeling yesterday and today mostly are progression pains. If I am 3+cm at my next ob appointment on Friday i was told I would most likely be going to LD and having the baby. If not ill be scheduling an induction for October 2 or 3.
