So long story short I have 2 kids with my partner but he’s not been nice for a long time. He has no patience with our toddler and shouts at me/name calls all the time over literally nothing. I take our toddler and baby to bed at her bedtime of 8pm and he watches tv downstairs but lately he keeps turning the baby camera off in the living room. Every morning I get up and he’s unplugged the lead out the front of it. First time it happened he said it must have fallen out, but now it happens every evening he’s home down there on his own. I asked him why he’s doing it this week and he got all funny and the best he could come up with was he doesn’t know….
He’s been going out to random things more in the evening, last week he was barely home at all. Am I overthinking this or is that really weird thing to do? It’s always been there and always been on

I mean, its definitely odd behaviour. We have a camera in our living room and none of us turn it off ever as we dont just sit their and open the app. We usually only go back to it if our daughter has done something funny and we want to download the footage.
Its extremely annoying that he is acting so blasé about it all.
When you ask him about it have you said it makes you uncomfortable because you think he's doing something dodgy?
Or can you ask him to do bed time one night? Why isnt it a shared task? Especially with two. You can say to him lets share bedtime routine and then we can both spend time in the living room relaxing. His demeanor and actions after that might give you something more to think about or put your mind at ease.
