Mamas 🩵

Mamas, can I ask something real?

What part of motherhood is draining you the MOST right now?

The mental load?
Never getting anything done?
Feeling overstimulated?
Mom guilt?
Your kids needing you every second?
Trying to keep everyone happy while you’re running on empty?

I feel like moms carry so much that nobody actually sees.

No judgment here. Vent if you need to. What’s been the hardest part for you lately?

Being responsible for his nutrition and food intake when all he wants to eat is crackers and Tractor Wheels.

The differences in parenting between my spouse and I 🤣

Experiencing all of those things entirely alone honestly is probably the most taxing on me. Everything becomes too much too fast some days and having a village that actually does what a village does is… a luxury for me atp. I love my daughter to bits more and more every day. But being a single and disabled parent who gets no breaks and no personal time may end up giving me ulcers or a heart attack.

I love seeing this post because I'm dealing with all you listed. I have a 2 year old and a 7 week old, and I'm drained. I told my husband I don't want anymore kids. Like ever again. The mom guilt is maxed out for sure for my older son. And then my newborn too because I can't lock in like I want to or should because of all the other stimulation in the house. And he will have 2 hour wake windows and sleep for 5 minutes. So freaking tired 😫
