Weird random question i guess lol
Has anyone gotten a Brazilian wax before going into labor? Like 2 weeks before the due date. Would it be risky to get one before labor or should i just wait?

I’m 36 weeks pregnant, and I went for a full Brazilian wax today! I asked my OB beforehand, and he told me it was completely fine to do it.
I was a little nervous because I had read that waxing can be more painful during pregnancy, but honestly, I felt like it hurt less than usual! 😂 I also asked my OB about the risk of infection, and he said it was fine and that there was no reason I couldn’t get one
I’m going next week at 37 weeks!!
Interesting. I was told waxing and shaving can mess up your flora. And it’s not suggested at all during pregnancy. I trim down there, but I never fully shave when I’m pregnant.
