Baby cried for 5 minutes and this mf just laid in bed sleep I woke him up I said do u not hear the baby crying!?!?! I said that’s scary that u can really sit here and sleep and not be alarmed or wake up. And after I said that this mf really had the nerve to roll over and go back to sleep and put the covers back over his head. This is the type of shit that is really going to put the nail in the coffin in our relationship honestly. He depends on me he trust that ima get it or handle it. And sad to say I don’t even trust him alone with our child because I feel she’s not getting the care quick enough for me. I’m so over it

As bad as it sounds it’s very normal for men not to hear a baby crying during the night. I’m on baby number 2 and my partner has never heard either babies cry during the night x
I understand this all too well. I dealt with the same thing. Unfortunately I don’t think dads have that same instinct especially when they know we are there. It’s like their body knows and won’t wake up, it’s honestly annoying because we are exhausted 24/7 and can’t get any help at night. I’m sorry you have to go through that !
