So last week I started getting itchiness all throughout my breast every time I pumped. By day 4, I had wet crusties on my nipples. My nipples were stuck to my bra. I got silverette nipple covers bc my nipples juat hurt and I needed something to shield them from my clothes. Ao things got better and I lowered my pump settings down to 2 on stimulation and 2 on expression. I've never had to go so low on the settings, and it's affecting my milk supply. Let me mention that my baby is bottle fed due to a growth she had in her mouth that caused her not to be able to latch. Well right now I just pumped and it hurt. Felt like my nipples were gonna rip off. Mind you im using a low setting. Going to call the lactation consultant tomorrow and hopefully I don't have to wait long for an appointment. Does anyone have any advice?

it’s prob just your nipples being sore do you have blisters like milk blebs? I would do nipple butter and some cracked nipple saline spray too should help it heal maybe some warm water with epsom salt too if you can tolerate the pain and still have milk removal no fever or anything you could maybe wait a bit
