Cries in frustration

Does anyone else find that their five month old can go 0-100 in ten seconds? She cries regularly on the playmat when she’s on her front - it’s because she’s trying to reach things beyond her grasp or attempt to crawl when she’s doesn’t know how. It means that playtime can be very difficult and if I leave the room for a wee or a drink she is very quickly crying her eyes out. Will it get better or will the frustrations continue as she wants to do more and more as she plays? Should I be encouraging more independence (where possible)?!

I am in the exact same situation! My daughter gets so frustrated now and it’s hard but I’m hoping it won’t last too long 🤞🏻

Flat head fix?

Hi!! I need help fixing my baby girls flat head. It’s not fully flat but it is from one side and I feel like I’ve done everything. I don’t want her wearing a helmet just yet because I want to give it a shot before she needs to wear it. Any tips to help with flat head?

What I do :

Tummy time
Naps are on sides
A round pillow
Try to baby wear around house

Leaking overnight

My little lady is 4.5 months and has just started sleeping through the night (last 2weeks) she’s in size 2 pampers or size 3 supermarket own as they’re smaller.
I’ve pried pampers, Morrisons, Aldi nappies and through the night she’s leaking. Any recommendations, please?

Second time mums..how?

My almost 4 week old doesn’t go down to sleep until 10:30-11pm, she has a few wakes which is fine, but the last block somehow kill’s me off. Her last wake is around 5:30/6am ish and it seems to take me the longest to settle her back to sleep at this hour and by the time I’ve finished my 3.5 year old is ready to talk my ear off at 7am prompt and ofc needs personal care and breakfast.

I’ve been able to rest as luckily my partner is still on leave, but I am anxiously anticipating his return to work and don’t know how I’ll do it!! 3 days of the week we will have to be out the door to the childminder, but the rest of the 4 he’s home with me😬.

How are we getting through the mornings/days with our eldest whilst sleep deprived?!
Any tips are welcome

4 month regression

Checking if your babies who are going through sleep regression also waking up before their usual time in the morning (apart from multiple wakings through the night). My LO used to sleep so well from 9 PM to 9 AM with one tiny feed at around 4/5 am. This bedtime works very well for our family. Now that the regression has hit us hard, she is waking up 3 or 4 times and then finally waking up fully alert and cheery around 7.30 am (1-1.5 hrs earlier than usual). Is this happening with you? Do you fully wake them up and start the day or just ride through this time till they are ready to sleep again? Sorry for the long post!

Play mat suggestions

Does anyone have any suggestions for play mats? I need something spongy and soft to put my baby on so he can play on the floor. He's 4 months old but I want something he can continue to use as he grows. It would also be helpful if it was waterproof or stain resistant as he's got reflux and is sick sometimes
