Nap times

When are your LOs ending their naps. Since my daughter moved to the two classroom they nap from 1-3 . Since then she has been not wanting to go to sleep and wakes up in the middle of the night for extended periods of time what seems to be from night terrors. Is this the typical naptime for an almost 2 1/2 year old. The not sleeping again is giving me PTSD from the first year she just didn’t sleep. I am not sure if the sleep disruption is from the nap, my husband and I taking her paci a little over a week ago, a sleep regression, or the fact that we are potty training which she is almost fully potty trained. I am just exhausted and at my wits end with not having sleep.

I think it’s pretty normal for two year olds to try not to nap. Mine naps most days but not all. My four year old just recently dropped her nap because it would take 1-2 hours for her to fall asleep at night if she does nap. Very few toddlers do well when naps are dropped at two. Just keep offering the nap time. If you really believe they’re ready, it doesn’t hurt to experiment.

She is napping but she is waking up at 3 pm. The nighttime sleep has been the issue

I have to wake my girlie up by 2 or she doesn't go down at night.. 3 could be too late or 2 hours could be too long. Experiment around a little with the length/timing but they def need it. Mine fights it most days 🤪 Also nightmares are common around this age - idk about night terrors though.
