Going part time

Hello, first time mum looking to go back to work part time - 4 days a week. I teach in a secondary school. Considering asking for a Wednesday- any part timers who can suggest what day off in the week works best? Thanks in advance.

I am going down to 4 days. I have asked for Fridays to have a 3 day weekend, but also we have CPD on Thursday and another part timer off Tuesday and Wednesday in my dept. So it plugs the gaps.

I think it’s up to you and the who in your social group is off. Or what you want to avoid/ go to at work. I have Mondays because I like a long weekend and the groups we did in maternity are on then.
I have also had a few Fridays as parental leave but find places busy on that day.
