Travelling to Spain

Any advice for travelling to Spain with a 4.5 month old?
We fly next week & i’m getting stressed about the flight. I’ve read we should feed at take off & landing but LO is currently at the stage where she will feed for a couple of minutes then push the bottle away. We also have been lucky in a day to day sense that since being 2 months she’s not a fan of a contact nap but I think thats going to cause a problem on the flight.
We fly at 8am & are leaving the house at 5am so i’m trying to work out feeds & naps ore flight.
Can anyone advise on the best water to buy to use for formula feeding?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It’s going to be a fairly short flight so don’t stress even if they arnt happy it won’t be for long (even if it feels like forever) I found my baby happily slept on me even though that wasn’t what we Nora do at home and don’t worry too much about the feeding its only to help with ears, they may not even suffer at all but if they did start to fuss you could then try feeding to help. The noise of a plane is great white noise so they usually stay pretty chill! I also took some gripe water and a syringe to help incase o thought she had any trapped wind on the flight as it can feel worse at altitude. But honestly it’s the most lovely time to take them away! Have a couple of tiny things on hand for distraction if needed but you probably won’t need them, the change in scenery is more than enough! 🥰

Hello,
Just back from 2 weeks in Spain with my very fussy 4 month old. I tried feeding on take off and landing and like your LO she didn’t feed for long enough but was absolutely fine. She was a little upset getting to sleep but the “plane” white noise helped wonders and she fell asleep. We used Bezoya bottled water as its cheapest and low sodium. It was also impossible to buy nappy sacks so take plenty! My only other advice is try not to overplan naps on travel days, we went with the flow as naturally there were disruptions and there was no schedule but all went pretty smoothly x

Confused about sterile bottles

This may sound silly, but I’m a FTM so any advice would be appreciated 🥹
My baby is 11 days old, and at some point I would like to start going out more but I’m confused how the bottles will be sterile in a bag, I currently use the Tommee Tippee bottles and the Tommee Tippee UV steriliser but I read once they are out the steriliser they aren’t sterile anymore? Maybe I’m misunderstanding it. Just wanted some advice on what other people do 😊

Speech therapy?

My son is 20 months old, and the only words he says are mama, our dog’s name, bubba (his nickname), and yeah yeah for yes. He also does some animal sounds, uses sign language for more, eat, all done, and help, and he points to things he wants. He understands most of what I say, but he’s just not saying many words yet.
I feel like at his age he should be saying more, so I’m considering speech therapy. Have any moms had experience with speech therapy for their little ones, or have any advice? 🤍
