Hey ladies
My relationship is on the rocks after 7 years and feel like i need to start preparing myself to do this alone, move in with parents and give up my dream life and family plans.
Any positive stories? Im so scared il never find another parent if I walk away and wont have morw children or secure life, do good men really exist? Do they take on being a step parent.
I know I deserve so much, I know im a lovely person and im worried im losing myself if I stay in this relationship whilst he's got all control of our finances and my freedom tbh

I'm a single mum and I have been since I was 12 weeks pregnant and honestly it's hard at first and still hard sometimes but it's also easier. It's just me and my boy and we have our little routine and things we do and I don't have to consult anyone else 🤷🏽‍♀️. I wouldn't worry too much about finding someone new just yet just focus on yourself and your babies it's a big transition

Have you guys tried marriage counseling? Also I am a firm believer if there’s physical and emotional abuse. You need to walk away immediately.
As for me, my marriage was falling apart a year ago. My husband had this “it’s always you versus my family” mentality. We went to marriage counseling. I reached clarity around January this year, and I saw divorce as another means to achieve a peaceful and loving future. That took a lot of work in individual therapy to love myself again. I mean to fully embrace myself and not be co-dependent on another partner.
Fast forward to today. My husband just had the same clarity about not saving the marriage at all costs necessary. He realized if the previous dynamic in our relationship doesn’t change, then divorce is the best choice. He also agreed I should have primary custody. We both decided to work on ourselves and on our marriage one last time with divorce as an option.

Having done both, so much easier without caring for a man child

I chose to do it solo with a donor! and its the best thing I've done. I have a few short fertile years but the rest of my life to fall in love. Fact is if the man doesn't love my daughter he isn't the right man!!
