Spitting after brushing teeth
How are we getting our 3 year olds to do this? 😂
He can physically spit and does so after brushing his teeth but nothing is actually being spat out.
Do we just keep encouraging it and one day he'll do it properly?

Mine copies me but as you say nothing actually comes out 😅 I think they'll just get it eventually? Maybe I'll start saying something like "try to spit out the bubbles like mummy" (he calls the foam bubbles) and see if that helps 🤷♀️
My two are the same. Not much comes out. This is why we only use fluoride-free toothpaste for now.
