My little ones 12 week jabs he was so unsettled, would only sleep on me, he had a bit of a fever too but went down with calpol

Our little one took the 12 week ones harder than the 8. Very unsettled and lots of moaning when trying to comfort her

They didn’t affect my boys at all, they was 100% themselves after their 12 week jabs

8 weeks she had a bit of a temperature and grumpy, the 12 week ones went by easily, bit more sleeping in the days that followed and a bit of a hard lump in her legs where the injection was but no sensitivity around it :)

8 week jabs he had diarrhea and a slight temp that was gone by the third dose of Calpol. 12 weeks he had a raised temperature for two days but his tummy was fine.

Mine was OK for both x

Just the same as the 8 week ones. A bit grumpy and tired

The same. Crying the first evening and got a temperature (38.1) and then was a bit more irritable the next few days. The rotavirus tummy continued for 1 week roughly.

Pretty much the same for both, my LO slept more with the second and was irritable for a few days after but nothing more x fingers crossed for you x

12weeks was a bit harder, in particular the rotavirus one seems to make our baby’s tummy uncomfortable.
If you are going to be rude or insensitive to others, don’t comment on this post.
if you gave birth via caesarean, would it bother you if someone asked if you gave birth “naturally or by caesarean” (nothing to do with whether you were medicated).
When I gave birth I always answered “vaginally” to others and they seemed uncomfortable 🤣 there was nothing natural about that shit show lmao

Hi, not expecting a diagnosis obviously but maybe just some opinions and or advice. I have a nearly 4 month old. I’ve been to my doctor re my mental health and they have told me to do a self referral for some talk therapy but it looks like it could take a few months. I’m really struggling but I don’t know if it’s a normal amount as a new first time mum or something more. I feel very low a lot of the time, crying most days but not every day, feeling isolated (no mum friends), feeling like I’m not enjoying being a mum as much as I hoped, missing my old life and freedom, struggling with patience and the constant crying and fussing, feeling like it’s Groundhog Day, jealous of my husbands life, feeling like I’m not doing a good enough job, worrying I’m not doing things well enough and it will negatively affect her, only feeling better when I have people with me who know about kids and can step in and help eg in laws etc. I have tried hard to work on being positive, I get out for multiple walks every day, I’ve joined a sensory class, I’m on this app but I feel like none of it is really working or doing much. I feel like I’m ticking boxes of things that should help but I’m not making any mum friends and honestly a lot of the time it feels like I’m masking. Sometimes I get so upset and cry and I can’t really explain why….

After lots of research, shop visits and trying different options, we’ve narrowed it down to the Joolz Aer², Silver Cross Nia and Bugaboo Butterfly.
We’re looking for one lightweight pushchair that is sturdy enough for everyday use, easy to carry as we live somewhere with no lift, and practical for travel too. We’d really prefer not to buy multiple pushchairs for different purposes, so ideally we want something that can work from newborn through to later toddler years.
We have tried all 3 and I feel in terms of sturdiness, Bugaboo would be the most sturdy, followed by Nia and then Joolz Aer2. Aesthetically and colour wise, I do prefer the Nia design.
Has anyone used any of these as their main everyday pushchair from birth? Would love to hear your experience and recommendations.

Hi, I am going to be a first time mum in December, at the moment we have a double bed in the spare room (which is going to be the nursery) my initial plan was to sell the bed, do people think this is a good idea.
Or during the night do you think it’s good to have in case baby won’t settle, and I can sleep in the spare room with him.
Preferably I would want to sleep in the same bed as my partner so hopefully won’t need it.
I just wondered what other people did?

I’m feeling quite guilty.. I’m exclusively breastfeeding and my baby is 10 weeks now, my husband is in the navy also which means me and baby alone most night. I’ve found myself just ending up co sleeping just because it happens, I feed then fall asleep and that’s how I sleep. When he was smaller and a new born or if me or if me and my husband are both in the bed I always prefer him and feel better with him in the next to me but when it’s just me is it okay to co sleep. Any tips on how to stay safe? I feel guilty because all my family hate it and the idea of it and I do too but non of them have ever breastfed.
