Looking for tips and tricks . My first long haul flight (12 hours + 😬) with my LO. We have travelled a few times before but the longest was 5 hours and babe was younger and not mobile. I’m in a bit of panic now , worried about tantrums and big feelings. It’s a night flight , so hoping for couple of hours of sleep. Anyone who has experienced a long haul flight with their toddler - how did you manage ? I am going to put LO in pjs, have some toys /entertainment ( not too many), and snacks. Also carrying a small tablet with some stuff on it like Miss Rachel .

Baby carrier! Lifesaver. Ended up walking up and down the aisle to settle him. The air stewardess also kindly let me sit on their own seating when not in use by them (which allows you to perch on the edge of the seat depending on how big your child is with the carrier on).
Fidget spinner type toys stuck to the window of the plane ended up being far more entertaining than anything we had downloaded on our phones 😂.
