Nasal flu spray

Hi girls. My little girl has been sent a letter from the GP about booking her annual nasal flu spray. Have your little ones had it? She did last year so not sure why I’m even thinking about her not having it again this year 🥲

Hi. Yeah, my LB had it on friday. He's had a slight cold and thats it. I thought I would try him this year as he was so ill last year. I chose for him not to have it last year because he was already ill. X

My little girl was supposed to have it last year but same here she was poorly so didn’t end up having it. Personally I won’t be doing it this year either x

My boy had it last friday. Had a snotty weekend and a few more cuddles but otherwise he is fine. Id much rather that than he get full blown flu.

The nasal flu spray, is a minor flue they are giving your child, to strengthen their immune system, so that when the flu comes around them it shouldn't make them ill but on odd occasion they get a cold,
They do that with all of illness jabs/immunisations,
So it's entirely the parents choice, that illness is common in my family and it's not a syringe/needle so I allowed that one with my kids, i have personally accepted most immunisations, but I have refused 2, 1 because of the reaction my relative had to it (now she's disabled due to a sesure caused by the jab) n other because it hadn't been tested for enough years to know that it's safe, as that's what happened to my relative, not taking the chance.
Your opinion on it with knowlage on it is up to you.

Ours hasn't. He can't have the nasal one due to his egg allergy. This year they have offered us an alternative which is a jab but we've decided not to for various other reasons.
