psychology horror book recommendations
I've been obsessed recently with psychology horror movies and I want to get into some good horror books too so I have something to read at work when it gets quiet. Any recommendations?

American Psycho is good, gory but good. Film and book. It's actually the only book I won't give away lol.
Salems Lot by Stephen King if you fancy something chunkier. Verity by Colleen hoover is more thriller but still VERY good. Haunting of hill house, bram stokers dracula. In the miso soup is a good one also and quite short!
Just finished the butterfly garden by Dot Hutchinson. I got it because it was free on kindle prime and had great reviews. It was so good! Check for trigger warnings before reading though as its about a serial killer who kidnaps and keeps women 😅 not normally my kind of thing but it was so well written!
