Anyone have tips on how to relieve constipation for my son? Over the past few weeks he has really been struggling so I brought back some purées including prunes, apples, and anything else that has more fiber and could help but he is still struggling and when he does finally go, his stool is so hard. Trying to get him to drink more water, less milk and dairy. Anything else I can do to help him? I hate to see him so uncomfortable.

Try adding water in the prune juice

We’ve been struggling with this as well. You’re doing all the right things. I would also try broccoli! It was so bad for my daughter we put some MiraLax in a bottle and that helped clear her out! Also we gave her water with some pear juice in it, which I think helped as well.

Pumpkin! Always did the trick for me. Slip it in his oatmeal, or cut the sugar from a pumpkin pie recipe and make it without the crust. It's actuallt healthy and will get things moving.
Also lighten up on rice and white bread if he's eating those things. :)

Pear - whole or puree. Pears contain a natural laxative. It’s where we get senna laxatives from. Give a little more than you normally would think to give. Works better than any other food IMO.

You can also roll the legs sometimes pressing knees to chest and rubbing the belly clockwise will help
Thank you all! Some great tips here. Much appreciated ❤️

We went through this recently. Less water and more milk. 1-2oz prune juice with water. P fruits - pear, peach, prune, etc

P fruits! I love that!

A family friend (who is a doctor in Europe) recommended mandarin oranges. My son hasn't had constipation since.
