I need opinions…..
Ok so my 6 month old has been throwing up after every formula bottle we finally got in contact with the pediatrician office ( I swear I have spend 40 minutes on hold multiple times waiting for a human ) finally got an appointment this morning at 11am, said to arrive at 10:45. We got there at 10:40, we didn’t get called back until 11:10, we didn’t even see the doctor until 12:20……I’m not trying to be mean but literally my husband got straight off night shift, slept for less than 45 minutes and we went to the appointment and he works again tonight like this was the only time we had to be able to see the pediatrician but have you waited that long for a sick appointment??? And basically the doctor said he could have a milk intolerance but wants me to take him off the kendamill and put him on gentlease formula enfamil I had expressed concerns about the recent studies done in Florida about the lead and high level of heavy metals and she’s like that’s fine and that it wasn’t that much and said even said there was a recall on kendamill for botulism or something. Which is false and the only Kendamill that was recalled was in Canada for something completely different and the one recalled for botulism was byheart and I told her that and she didn’t listen….this was just some random doctor not his pediatrician but idk what to do…..I’m not comfortable with her knowledge or the way she rushed us

I would absolutely get a different pediatrician. I put in a lot of work to find a pediatrician office that I liked and even with them there are some things that they say that I just know are not accurate and it's so frustrating. If you like your actual pediatrician but you can't guarantee that you see them when sick it's kind of pointless
Could be a milk allergy how long has this been happening?
What kendamil are you giving right now? My daughter has a dairy intolerance and did amazing on kendamil goat
We use Bubs goat milk formula and it seems to be really gentle on their stomachs. My son threw up or had stomach pain after drinking any cow milk so maybe goat will help!
I use gentle ease as well as breastfeeding. My baby did this a couple months ago with constantly spitting up after every bottle, I figured it was the milk so I switched it and it didn’t help. Turns out she just had reflux, it has stopped now. I read that if it’s a milk allergy their poop will be like mucus, I suggest reading into it before changing. Also it takes them awhile to adjust to new formula to see if it works so be patient
