As a new Christian joining a new church how quickly can I be baptised?

That’s great. Honestly it’s up to you but I have noticed as an adult most people wait about a year to get baptized. Our pastor does it once or twice a year depending on who is interested. I was considering doing it again because I don’t think I was ready when I was a child. I have had a lot happen since then and my faith is important to me.
