Hospital recommendations for pregnancy care
Hi everyone, this is my first pregnancy, so I’m completely new to the process. I went to my GP to let them know I’m pregnant, but they said I need to refer myself for maternity care. They sent me a link where I can choose which hospital I’d like to have my pregnancy care and give birth.
I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences and recommendations. Which hospital did you choose, and have you had a good experience with the maternity care and birth there? I’d love to know which hospitals you would recommend and why. Thank you! ❤️

Usually it’s recommended to choose the closest hospital, as that will be quicker to get to when contractions/labour starts. You will also have appointments there too throughout pregnancy.
But you can choose.
I would say it depends on where you live.
I wrote a post on a local FB group and asked for the best local birthing hospital. Theres 3 around me. I got over a 100+ comments and it made my decision much easier x
