Visitors after baby

We waited a full 2 weeks with my daughter last time and it was a god send! Nice to get into a routine as a new family and not feel pressure of people coming but honestly go off what feels best for you all

With my first We did a week and a half where it was just us in our little bubble because it was Christmas the following week and my parents were visiting from far! This time round I think I would probably do a week maybe 2 depending on how we get on with our toddler.

6 weeks with no visits at all. After that we had visitors and started to go out and do our life but we never passed our baby from arms to arms.

My dad visited me in hospital and my in laws took us home from the hospital 4 days post c section. Lots of people like to wait but I couldn’t wait to share my bundle of joy with the world and will be the same again. I loved having visitors. Whatever you are comfortable with. There’s no “general” wait time xx

With my first I originally said I wanted some time but when he arrived I was too excited to show everyone ‘what I made’😂 so I had people round when I got home x
