Anyone else considering getting noise reducing earplugs.

I love my daughter. But right now all she does is scream at the top of her lungs. We have been working on signing and trying to say words for months. And she is just at the stage where she can't communicate yet. But if she wants she doesn't cry or get fussy she screams at the top of her lungs. Im getting a permanent headache from all the screaming any kind of reaction turns it into a game for her. It doesn't feel right to just let her sit and scream even when all of her needs have been taken care of. She screams when we go to do bedtime routines and has started screaming at every diaper change when she gets put on the changing table. If I put her in the pack and play to try to make lunch she will still scream. I know the screaming is developmentally appropriate but both my husband and I are fed up.

My daughter has started screaming a lot too! Mostly it seems to be for fun that she does it, and does it more when we tell her to stop. It's so hard because it seems you can't do anything to make them stop screaming! At this age if all the needs are met and they are screaming, I just leave her in the pack and play for a few minutes

Yes!! Was on my must have list prior to my second and it definitely helps. You’ll still hear them but it will keep you from loosing your marbles. It’s the whining that really gets my fight or flight response going. I just use them occasionally, usually when I have to cook dinner.

I have used them in the past and still have them

Help!!!!

Someone please help me with some advice because I’m losing my absolute mind 😭
Baby is 5 months old, she has changed a lot in personality over the last month, more needy, sleep changes etc but have put it down to the 4 month regression and teething.
However, the problem that makes me want to literally cry is the car seat! She is totally inconsolable now every time she’s in the car. Why? And what can I do to help it?!

PP things I hate

Everything is stress induced anymore
My daughter has this ongoing diarrhea for 2 weeks now and I’ve gotten no sleep from it, I now have a canker sore from it, my acid reflux has more flare ups than ever. I don’t like having sex anymore (I love my partner and I still find him very attractive). Im way too overly touched (by the baby, by the dog and by him). Im 10m pp and I haven’t been able to wear a dang tampon! I don’t do pads because they are just not for me so I wear a diaper.
Please tell me if you relate to any of this at all? Or if I’m just crazy

Sleep regression solidarity

Anyone else’s little one been hit by sleep regression like a ton of bricks? 🙃.

Baby girl was sleeping so well then this past week has been struggling, last night was WILD. We are currently running on caffeine and vibes 😅✌️.

We can do this mamas.

Anyone else feel like as soon as their baby turned 8m old they are acting like a completely different baby? She's become noticeably more difficult as far as behavior.

Please tell me what your experience is with your 8m old.

Mum guilt

My baby has a really awful latch and breastfeeding can be quite uncomfortable. I’ve had help from the infant feeding team and it’s improved but still not great. He doesn’t have a tongue tie.

I think he swallows down a lot of air, he always has trapped wind and an uncomfortable tummy, he fusses and grunts all night long, never burps after feeds. He’s always congested and has hiccups all the time.

I have a fast letdown so I think that also contributes. I’m really really considering switching to formula but the guilt that comes alongside that is killing me.

My eldest was breastfed for 8 months so I feel so shameful considering quitting at just 4 weeks with second baby. I also feel a huge responsibility to keep breastfeeding through winter for the immune system and health benefits.

I’m just really not enjoying breastfeeding this time and it’s making me miserable.

Any tips?
